Persona
Based on the survey we set up one persona. We referred to it throughout the entire product development process
The persona represents the majority of the user base
Used results from user research to help amplify the personal expectations of an app used for an errand
Especially utilized to persona when developing UI to create an aesthetically appealing app for the user base

User Flow
I mapped out the users’ steps to see how I could simplify their journey to help them reach the most important aspects of the app with ease
The user flow helped discover the best way to incorporate creativity and fun in this simple task
Based on our survey results I wanted to ensure that users were able to clearly navigate the flow to book and appointments
The creative aspects of the app being more important was ideated because of this user flow

Crazy Eight Sketches
Started the design process with ideating best ways to incorporate the creative aspect of the apps process
My original idea was from the drawing on the top left but after drawing out multiple sketches I found the next one to the right was much more effective for how users will need to customize the groom if needed.

At the beginning of my design process I created wireframes for testing purposes.

Creating the wireframes helped culminate my research into a testable product.

Lower fidelity wireframes provided a way to better test my product with something closer to the finished results.

UI Design
Once I tested out all usability mistakes, I started designing the final screens in Figma.
Going for a cute and pastel style, colors already incorporated in the Cloud Grooming logo
Tried to best represent what the user base would enjoy
Designed with the idea that users would be having fun throughout this process.
This is the mood board used to connect color and feel to the interface.

Learnings/ Final Thoughts
I was worried about the customization feature overtaking the whole project
I overcame this by making my scope smaller and focusing on the customization of only two dog breeds. After all the project was about the booking process and I didn't want that to be lost along the way.
I was excited for this project because I love the color palette used in the companys’ logo and existing design. With this project being based on the appointment and booking process next steps would include bringing in more creative styles for clients
